How you'll make a difference:You'll help teams across WorkSafeBC solve complex problems, leverage technology, and plan new ways to serve B.C. workers and employers.

Where you'll work

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you'll work three or more days a week in our Richmond office.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications to support leadership focus and reduce administrative friction.
  • Manage onboarding logistics, training coordination, and departmental documentation.
  • Track and follow up on action items to ensure accountability and timely progress.
  • Plan and execute departmental and divisional events, workshops, and engagement activities that strengthen culture and collaboration.
  • Prepare polished communications, reports, and presentation materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Support budgeting, procurement, and asset management processes in collaboration with Finance, P&C, Procurement, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement small process improvements that simplify work, increase efficiency, and enhance clarity.

  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative or coordination support in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

  • Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Curiosity and confidence using new technologies—including generative AI tools—to improve workflow efficiency.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and supporting others.

Your background and experience:

  • Completion of grade 12; post-secondary education in Business or a quantitative field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience in an administrative role supporting senior management and/or Director level operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.

We'll consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
