Job summary

A cleaning and building maintenance company in Metro Vancouver is looking for a full-time Administrative Officer to implement and evaluate administrative procedures, support budget preparation, and oversee payroll administration. Applicants should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The position is on-site with no remote work option available.

Qualifications

  • 2 years to less than 3 years experience required.
  • Experience in implementing administrative procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new administrative procedures
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
