Role

Account Manager (French / English Bilingual)

We are seeking a Account Manager to strengthen VusionGroup’s commercial presence in Canada and to develop the client base. The holder will build and close a pipeline of Canadian independent retailers (SMBs and regional) in predefined sectors to sell VusionGroup solutions. Initially, the main objective of this role will be to open new retail sales sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop business to create new prospects and open new sectors.
  • Sign pilot projects and build relationships with buyer groups.
  • Develop the pharmacy vertical.
  • Create and manage relationships with purchasing groups, franchises or potential partners (e.g., POS already integrated).
  • Accelerate sales and key partnerships.
  • Execute sales activities effectively and maintain a pipeline to generate revenue to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Establish multiple contacts and build relationships at different levels and departments, developing champions within the organization.
  • Develop and manage relationships with buying groups to implement marketing initiatives, generate new business and sustain a durable partnership.
  • Create campaigns to convert identified prospects into opportunities.
  • Present company solutions and offers.
  • Conduct in-person meetings when necessary for large clients.
  • Attend trade shows to contribute to deal closing.
Qualifications

Experience :

  • 4 years of experience in sales and business development
  • Experience in a startup and / or ambiguous environment with proven adaptability
  • Experience in full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Strong understanding of selling to SME or larger corporate clients (preferred)
  • Go-getter mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to meet ambitious sales timelines and goals
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 50% (domestic), including trade shows and client visits
  • Fluency in French and English (required)

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Experience in marketing and / or close collaboration with a marketing leads generation team (plus)
  • Creative sales mindset and autonomy
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience in a SaaS software company
  • Experience in retail sales environments with a focus on C-suite clients
