The Account Executive, Payments is responsible for driving the adoption of Lightspeed Payments within Lightspeed's existing merchant base in North America. This is a dedicated cross-sell/upsell position focused on transitioning current Point of Sale (POS) customers to our proprietary, integrated payment processing solution.
Lightspeed Payments has been continually invested into since launch in 2019, integrating a number of unique value drivers into the combined POS-payments solution. Building off of success our new business teams have experienced in selling the combined POS-payments solution, we are scaling our ability to sell payments into our existing merchant base, many of which became clients before we scaled Lightspeed Payments.
This position reports to the Global Payments Sales Manager and is part of the Global Payments GTM team.
The primary responsibility is to meet and exceed sales targets for Lightspeed Payments adoption among existing merchants.

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skill set, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of $57,000 to 139,000 CAD. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, RRSP plan and match, paid parental leave top‑up, and paid time off.
Please note that this compensation information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within Ontario and reflects the amount Lightspeed is willing to pay at the time of this posting. This role represents an existing vacancy at Lightspeed.
