General Position Summary

  • Generate sales by providing excellent customer service.

  • Provide consistent, documented appraisal of sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with company objectives.
  • Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
  • Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
  • Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.
  • Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
  • Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
  • Support and follow all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Supervise Associates
  • Participate in training programs, set and follow sales and task goals.
  • Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including inventory and asset protection.
  • Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of work time.
  • Ability to work independently.
