ABOUT THE UPPER GRAND DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD (UGDSB)
The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 4000 dedicated staff who serve more than 35000 students attending a variety of programs across 65 elementary and 11 secondary schools as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in the counties of Dufferin Wellington and the City of Guelph. The UGDSB covers the ancestral and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Six Nations of the Grand River and Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Custodial team in the capacity of Temporary Caretaker Floater.
Location: Locations will vary and change throughout the UGDSB with the chance of going to multiple school assignments in one day; Access to your personal vehicle is required.
Areas for this position include but are not limited to Guelph, Fergus and Erin.
Hours of work / FTE: The Temporary Caretaker Floater position can pick up shifts anywhere between 3:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. However there is no guarantee of working hours per week.
Rate of Pay: Base hourly rate: $25.05 per hour; wage rate effective September 1 2025
Board Information: Temporary part time; Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)
