A healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time position based in Port Perry. The successful candidate will provide personal care to patients, administer medications, and participate in multidisciplinary teams. Wage Schedule: $40.240 - $57.680 per hour

NOTE: There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work on all Healthy Aging and Medicine program units at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and Port Perry.
Reporting to Manager of Staffing Resource Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for personal patient care, vital signs, physical assessment, administration of medications, monitoring IV's, monitoring telemetry (if CC1 prepared), setting up medical equipment as appropriate and other duties as assigned. The RN will participate as a member of the Float Pool, Multidisciplinary Team and the Nursing Team at the at the Bowmanville and Port Perry site on Healthy Aging and Medicine program units. As an individual practitioner, the nurse will maintain competence and professionalism relevant to current practice. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining the health record according to hospital policy, procedure and standards.
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and the Ontario Nurses Association (RN Bargaining Unit Local 051).
Successful External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
