Job summary
A leading technology staffing firm is seeking an experienced full stack developer to deliver quality cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in architecting and developing solutions, strong skills in API and web application development, and a deep understanding of cloud serverless solutions. Responsibilities include mentoring peers, leading technical discussions, and managing partnerships with technology suppliers. This role is remote and requires strong English communication skills.

- 5+ years application and backend API development experience (object-oriented, Java, Go, TypeScript / JavaScript)
- 5+ years web application development experience (HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, TypeScript / JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of cloud serverless solutions (AWS…S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge)
- Experience working with cloud database services (RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS / ECS / Fargate)
- Experience with cloud build and deployment tools (Serverless, AWS SAM, GitLab)
- Experience working with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and cloud deployment languages (Serverless, CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
- Base understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, EFS, IAM, CW)
- Agile development and deployment experience (JIRA, CI / CD)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- AWS Certification (AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Developer, AWS DevOps)
Other cloud certifications are nice to have (GCP, Azure)
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership throughout the development life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
- Mentor peer engineering team members on technical decision making, code reviews and enforcing engineering practices and standards
- Lead technical discussions and build consensus among engineers
- Work with cloud engineering teams to design and develop cloud native services
- Manage strong partnerships with technology suppliers; understand and advise on their roadmaps and product evolution
- Maintain application DevOps processes and deployment pipelines to implement and support application and feature releases
- Assist in system migration to the cloud supporting refactoring legacy system to modernize the application or integration services to leverage cloud native services and solutions
