About the role

We have an incredibly talented team working diligently to make our product valuable for our clients' businesses, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in working on cutting-edge technology to deliver outstanding products for world-famous brands.

Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain the backend for Improvado's marketing analytics SaaS platform, including architectural improvements related to scalability, reliability, and performance.
2. Design and implement new functionalities.
3. Write tests using Pytest and other libraries.
4. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
5. Optimize service performance to ensure a fast and responsive user experience.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
7. Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate server-side logic.
8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall codebase improvements.
9. Engage in Agile development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
10. Share knowledge within the team.

Requirements

1. Basic knowledge of Python or at least 1 year of experience in Python backend development, preferably with Django framework.
2. Third- or fourth-year students in Computer Science or related fields.
3. Comfortable working with Linux.
4. Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and NoSQL databases.
5. Willing to work with a distributed team across different time zones.
6. Strong mathematical background and a passion for Software Engineering.
7. Curious and eager to learn upcoming best practices.

Nice to have

1. Experience with high-load/Big Data and REST projects.
2. Knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
3. Familiarity with OOP, SOLID principles, and DDD.
4. Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
5. Experience with asyncio or similar frameworks.
6. Ability to work in a Continuous Integration environment.
