Senior Technical Program Manager – Remote

Location : Brazil

The RDE Release Management team is hiring a Senior technical program manager who will help support the release trains and be responsible for managing releases for these products. RM Support includes release coordination, scheduling, managing timelines, app submissions, and the publishing of apps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technical operations and workflows that give the organization a competitive edge and improve developer efficiencies.

The ideal candidate will also have a track record as a release manager of having managed releases at a global scale multiplatform systems with teams distributed internationally. You are a key influencer in your team's strategy and contribute significantly to team planning. You show good judgment making tradeoffs between immediate and long-term business needs. You are a collaborative partner that makes other team members around you more productive by sharing your knowledge and helping to tiebreak key technical decisions. You provide mentoring to others.

• Manage releases for products across multiplatform systems with globally distributed teams.
• Support release trains, coordination, scheduling, timelines, app submissions, and publishing of apps.
• Oversee key functions within the product development environment to deliver high-quality service to end users.
• Establish and manage expectations with executive stakeholders and drive engineering teams to meet those expectations to a high standard.
• Coordinate dependencies and release planning with frontend iOS, Android, Web, Roku CTV SDK, and backend engineering and QA teams.
• Drive improvements in the Release Engineering pipeline, including automated tracking and reporting on release artifacts, JIRA items, sprint scope, bug reports, test reports, and release notes.
• Lead changes in branching strategy, semantic versioning, sprint planning, and dependency management.
• Support large-scale global product launches through scalable automated release pipeline workflows leveraging CICD and QA automation.

• 7 to 10 years of experience supporting a full development lifecycle for Android, Apple Web, or other platform ecosystems.
• Must have app submission experience in one of the major app store portals.
• Operational and release management experience in an agile framework within a media or technology company is preferred.
• Experience working with engineering teams to drive improvements in the release engineering process and to coordinate dependencies and release planning.
• Experience working with global teams comprising product engineering, QA, and operations functional areas.

Experience in change management processes.
