Direct Response Video Editor (Remote - Brazil Preferred)

$1,200-$1,400 USD/month + $250+ Monthly Performance Bonuses

We're an 8-figure DTC beauty & wellness brand generating $1M+ in monthly revenue through high-volume, high-converting video advertising. We need an elite video editor who understands direct response mechanics and can produce scroll-stopping ads at scale.

Your work will directly drive sales across Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms—with immediate feedback from millions of impressions monthly.

High-Volume Ad Production (40-60 ads/month): Transform raw creator footage, UGC clips, and b-roll into persuasive short-form ads (15-90 seconds) and VSLs that convert cold traffic into buyers. You'll work across multiple products and funnels simultaneously.

• Craft hooks that stop thumbs in the first 3 seconds (pattern interrupts, bold claims, visual glitches)
• Deploy engagement disruptors: kinetic typography, callout graphics, progress bars, emoji reactions
• Optimize pacing for platform algorithms (Meta 9:16, YouTube Shorts)
• A/B test visual approaches based on performance data

Post-Production Excellence Color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and seamless transitions using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Your edits should feel polished but authentic—not overproduced.

Rapid Iteration & Testing Partner with our Creative Strategist to test new concepts weekly. Expect fast feedback cycles and the need to pivot based on real-time campaign data. Speed + quality = your competitive advantage here.

AI-Enhanced Workflow Leverage tools like Descript, Runway, and AI caption generators to maximize output without sacrificing quality. We value efficiency and smart automation.

• Strong level of fluent English fluency (hard requirement)
• 2+ years editing for DTC/eCommerce brands (beauty, health, or supplements ideal)
• Portfolio demonstrating direct response ads that drove conversions (show us your winners)
• Expert-level proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve + After Effects
• Deep understanding of Meta/YouTube Shorts specs and algorithm-friendly editing patterns
• Native fluency with UGC aesthetics (raw, authentic, relatable) vs. polished brand content
• Proven ability to produce 8-12 ads per week without compromising quality
• Ability to think critically and recommend new approaches, ad formats, and tools (outside the box)

• Experience editing short-form VSLs (2-3+ minutes) or long-form VSLs (25+ minutes)
• Motion design skills (After Effects, Cinema 4D)
• Understanding of direct response copywriting principles
• Familiarity with CapCut, Descript, or AI editing tools
• Portuguese + English fluency

• Fast turnaround times (24-48 hour revisions)
• Self-directed work ethic in a remote environment
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Ego-free collaboration and receptiveness to feedback
