A dynamic healthcare startup in Brazil is looking for its first engineering hire to develop a production-ready web product. The role involves full-stack development with strong emphasis on React and TypeScript. As a key player, you will ensure product quality and rapid shipping of new features. This fully remote contractor position offers competitive pay from $48k to $85k USD annually, with potential for growth and equity. Join a hands-on founder in an exciting, flexible work environment.
We connect talented tech professionals in Latin America and Canada with remote career opportunities at innovative startups worldwide. We specialize in finding roles that align with your skills, experience, and career goals. Our personalized approach ensures you're matched with companies that value your contributions and offer opportunities for growth. Whether you're a software engineer, designer, marketer, or other tech professional, we're here to help you take the next step in your career.
Our client is an early-stage, U.S.-based healthcare marketplace building a trust and matching layer for the fast-growing cash-pay medical ecosystem. Backed by seed funding and led by a founder who previously built and exited a $100M marketplace, the company is now moving from prototype to real product—and this role is central to that transition.
You’ll join as the first engineering hire, reporting directly to the founder. Your mission is to transform a “vibe-coded” demo into a production-ready web product and lay the groundwork for a React Native iOS app. Success means shipping fast, making thoughtful implementation decisions, and steadily improving product quality, reliability, and intelligence.
