• Advanced English and Portuguese; Spanish is a strong plus.

Position Mission

Are you passionate about logistics, transportation and strategic negotiations? ABB is looking for a Transportation Sourcing Category Manager to join the Electrification (EL) division supporting logistics projects across LATAM. With a primary focus on this role, you will play a key part in managing transportation contracts, leading supplier transitions and executing sourcing projects that ensure competitiveness, quality and efficiency in logistics operations across the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing events and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs ensuring the supplier base has the capacity to meet current and future demands.
• Manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets and savings forecasts.
• Negotiate supplier agreements, contracts and commercial terms to ensure competitive and sustainable solutions.
• Support annual projects, supplier transitions and business changes in Brazil and other LATAM countries.
• Act as the main point of contact for overland transportation (FTL and LTL) ensuring process efficiency and alignment.
• Identify, assess and approve suppliers according to ABB standards focusing on quality, cost, delivery and sustainability.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields.

Proven experience in sourcing and procurement in transportation and logistics.

Strong background in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers.

Knowledge of overland transportation (FTL and LTL) with a primary focus on Brazil.

Advanced English and Portuguese; Spanish is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with regional procurement strategies.
• Experience with SAP and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to model transportation cost structures.
