Job Title : Translation Manager

This position will lead and oversee the translation and localization team responsible for adapting in-game content, documentation, and marketing materials across multiple languages.

The Translation Manager will ensure quality, cultural accuracy, and consistency across all translated materials while coordinating with local and global teams to deliver localized content on schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and supervise a team of translators across different languages.
• Oversee the translation and localization pipeline for in-game text, UI elements, customer support scripts, marketing materials, and official communications.
• Develop and maintain style guides, glossaries, and terminology databases to ensure consistency across all languages.
• Implement quality assurance processes, including review cycles and proofreading.
• Coordinate with game developers, community managers, and publishing teams to align localization strategy with game updates and releases.
• Evaluate and manage external vendors, freelancers, and translation tools.
• Establish efficient workflows to meet deadlines.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback and training to translators.
• Prepare regular reports on translation progress, quality, and team performance.

Skills and Requirements :

• Proven experience in translation, localization, or linguistics, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Prior experience in managing a translation or localization team.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Familiarity with CAT tools, localization platforms, and QA processes.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams.
• Team-oriented professional work attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Game industry experience is desired.
• Familiarity with PC gaming and MMORPGs.
