Salary
$85,000 – $95,000 per year. The successful candidate's starting base will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the base range for this role.

The Position
The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving qualified pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects in scientific and technical markets. This role combines sales development expertise with technical product knowledge, ensuring prospects understand the value of complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor junior Inside Sales Representatives.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute demand generation campaigns.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights.
- Execute multi‐channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events) to engage prospects.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand technical needs and qualify leads.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
- Partner with marketing to design campaigns tailored to technical audiences.
- Contribute to content creation (emails, case studies, webinars) that highlight product capabilities.
- Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams based on prospect interactions.
- Assist in account planning and territory development strategies.
- Provide pre‑call research and prospect intelligence to support sales efforts.
- Help refine playbooks for technical prospecting and demand generation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation goals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a scientific instrumentation, biotech, or advanced manufacturing environment (e.g., RheoSense or similar).
- Familiarity with technical products and ability to conduct product demonstrations or technical discussions.
- Background in collaborating with marketing teams on demand generation campaigns.
- Leadership or mentoring experience within a sales development team.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of standard office equipment (computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, copier, etc.).
- Production and office environment with daily administrative duties.
- Occasional hand and eye coordination and fine manipulation.
- Extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk with a computer.
- Occasional travel may be required for customer visits, trade shows, or industry events.
- Light physical activity such as carrying marketing materials, product samples, or demonstration equipment (typically under 50 lbs.).
