A leading technology company is seeking a Shopify Developer to work remotely from Brazil or Argentina. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in software engineering and a strong background in e-commerce solutions, particularly on the Shopify platform. Responsibilities include designing cloud solutions, developing APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires deep expertise in API technologies, middleware tools, and frontend development to ensure high-quality digital products.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in software engineering, development, and e-commerce solution architecture.
• Extensive experience with Shopify, including full-scale project involvement.
• Proficiency in API technologies and web application design.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and optimize Shopify cloud solutions for scalability and security.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and maintain frontend of the Distributor Vendor Tool.
• Collaborate with project managers and UX/UI designers for project alignment.
• Develop and execute testing plans, utilizing automated frameworks.

Position Description

Navigate complex challenges and is deeply committed to building robust, top‑notch technological solutions.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Cloud Implementation and Management

Design, implement, and optimize Shopify cloud solutions and associated products, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency while collaborating with the IT security team for compliance.

API and Frontend Development

Develop robust and secure RESTful APIs for integration and external communications, and maintain the frontend of the Distributor Vendor Tool using modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring responsive and optimal user experiences.

Collaboration and Project Management

Work with project managers, UX/UI designers, and developers for clear communication and project alignment, participate in code reviews, and maintain solution documentation.

Testing, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement

Develop and execute testing plans, use automated testing frameworks for continuous integration, stay updated with the latest technologies, and lead innovation initiatives to enhance digital products.

Leadership Competencies / Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements : Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in software engineering, development, and e‑commerce solution architecture, with specific focus on Shopify.

Magento Proficiency

• Extensive experience with Shopify (Ver 2+), including Shopify checkout experience, content management, and involvement in at least one full‑scale project.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in API technologies (SOAP, REST), Middleware tools (e.g., Cast Iron, MuleSoft), and web application design and analysis, including design patterns and object‑oriented design.

Customization and Front‑end Development

• Experience in customizing Shopify’s front‑end components using layout XML, blocks, components, templates, and React.

ERP and Third‑party Services Integration

• Knowledge of integrating Shopify with enterprise ERP systems and utilizing third‑party web services.

Store Management Expertise

• Comprehensive understanding of Store Catalog (categories / products / attributes) and Sales Orders (quotes / orders / invoices / shipments / credits) processes.
