What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead and manage energy projects through all stages of development, including planning, permitting, design, and implementation
• Oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, resource analysis, and public outreach
• Manage preparation of environmental and land use permit applications at local, state, and federal levels
• Represent clients before regulatory agencies and manage the production of resource studies
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior staff while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

What is Required (Qualifications)

• B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of related consulting experience, including technical team and project management
• Demonstrated experience with Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and/or Utah regulatory agencies
• Strong project experience in Arizona
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related project management tools

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) right-of-way process and Certificate of Environmental Compatibility (CEC) process
• Experience with electrical transmission siting and routing
• Experience managing multi-state energy permitting efforts
