Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Specialist to join our team.

In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in the successful deployment of Cisco Meraki MX devices and associated security technologies across multiple customer locations.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of clients' phased deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough discovery and documentation of existing IP schema across seven customer locations.
• Design and implement new IP subnets for Office, Wireless, and Management networks, aligning with industry best practices.
• Analyze DHCP server configuration, scope, and scope options for each location to ensure optimal network performance.
• Identify network hosts requiring manual static IP modifications or changes, applying your technical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
• Deploy and configure Cisco Meraki MX devices, including switch port VLAN mapping, to create a secure and efficient network environment.
• Develop standardized operational templates, profiles, and dashboards for Meraki environments, enhancing collaboration and decision-making.
• Establish secure VPN tunnels and configure Cisco Secure Client for endpoint protection, safeguarding against cyber threats.
• Ensure seamless integration with Cisco Secure Client for secure access, adhering to industry standards.
• Create and manage connections with endpoints and end users, prioritizing accessibility and security.
• Ensure VPN access is available across all devices, streamlining connectivity.
• Integrate with Azure and AWS for cloud services, expanding our technology capabilities.
• Integrate Cisco Duo MFA to secure access to critical applications (e.g., Pension Pro), maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
• Perform Active Directory integration for centralized user management, enhancing organizational efficiency.
• Support cloud service integration with Azure and AWS, fostering innovation and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to ensure successful deployment and knowledge transfer, promoting a culture of excellence.
• Participate in testing, validation, and final review phases of the project, guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on Cisco Meraki MX devices and related technologies.
• Proven expertise in network architecture, design, and implementation, with a strong understanding of IP schemas and DHCP configurations.
• Experience with switch port VLAN mapping, Cisco Secure Client, and Cisco Duo MFA, as well as cloud service integrations with Azure and AWS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality results, with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability.
