Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Developer in Brazil.

As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications that provide seamless user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and marketing to ensure the mobile apps align with business objectives. Your role will involve integrating front-end functionality with backend services and third-party platforms, while adhering to best practices in mobile development. You will contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment, taking ownership of troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous improvement of the apps. This role offers the opportunity to influence the overall product experience and scale solutions that impact users globally. You will also mentor junior developers and promote high standards in code quality, testing, and deployment processes.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable mobile applications for Android using React Native
• Ensure seamless and responsive UI/UX design that meets user expectations
• Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to align technical solutions with business goals
• Integrate front-end features with backend logic and third-party services, including payment gateways
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability
• Participate in agile development processes and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, preferably in a startup environment
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in React Native
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Experience with App Store submission and release processes
• Hands-on knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work full-time in 11 AM – 7/8 PM PST timezone
• Nice to have: experience developing applications for the construction industry
