Primary Purpose of the Position

Develop and implement the end-to-end GY human capital strategy aligned to corporate and local needs.

This position is accountable for the Brazil HR Manufacturing locations and Mounting Centers.

It is also responsible to Labor Relations and Union Negotiations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and implement effective workforce planning, providing the organization with processes that facilitate career planning and succession plan management;
  • Implement a competency-based leadership development strategy to ensure the skills needed to reach future leadership demands;
  • Develop and implement learning programs focused on the development and support of the company's talent strategy such as : programs for high performance associates, internship, onboarding, Diversity & Inclusion among others;
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen change management skills aligned to the country's priorities and promote a high engagement and diverse work environment;
  • Acting as a formal coach / advisor to assist in building high performance teams, working to assess development needs, analyzing performance improvement opportunities, designing and leading programs focused on building people and skills management leadership skills.
  • Partner with cross-functional groups and HR centers of excellence to design and execute how the business staffs, onboards, develops, motivates, retains and organizes work.
  • Lead CSD pillar and build a culture of excellence towards Plant Optimization.
  • Strengthen union's relationship to continuous seek a flexible and cost effective work environment;
  • This position will execute programs to support all Goodyear Plant associates, including talent management, career planning, performance management, leadership coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, learning and development, recognition programs and strategic organizational development.
Experience: Required
  • 15+ years of experience in human resources acting as Generalist / HRBP and / or OD / TD;
  • 10+ years of experience in HR Manufacturing under a complex and intense labor force and distribution model
  • 8+ years of managerial positions
  • Matrix organization setup and multi-national enterprise
Experience: Desired
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic talent management programs;
  • Being adaptable to lead change and well manage a diverse set of stakeholders;
Education & Certifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources Management or Psychology
  • Master's in Business Administration or Organizational Development / related areas
Desired
  • Certification in Coaching and evaluation tools
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Strong ability to influence through strong relationships, expertise and data and the ability to manage a set of stakeholders.
  • Comfortable to execute by him / herself to get things done and being part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
  • Strong sense of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Superior communication skills and understand how to communicate large, complex change.
  • Union negotiations and labor relations strong expertise.
  • Fluent in English.
