A leading technology company in Brazil is seeking an experienced engineer in data center design to collaborate with business development and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in data center infrastructure and hold a relevant engineering degree. This role emphasizes effective communication, risk analysis, and adherence to local regulations while contributing to key projects.
Are you an engineer passionate about data center design and looking for a challenge to chart your own path? This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with business development, project engineers, data center operations professionals, vendors and external consultants, and other cross-functional teams to evaluate and select colocation facilities that meet our business requirements. You will demonstrate deep knowledge of data center infrastructure design, engineering and operations, telecommunications facilities, and other critical environmental infrastructure. You will work directly with internal business teams and colocation providers to identify, document, and resolve operational/design deficiencies that may affect a site's capacity or availability. You will have the opportunity to influence standards for data center products, build and improve processes, and guide the direction of our colocation data center portfolio on a global scale.
Therefore, if you are a leader with solid experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural (MEPS) data center infrastructure project engineering, Amazon will present a fast-paced, fun, and exciting work environment that is unique in all aspects and offers an exceptional rewarding opportunity for you.
