Mission
The Sales Manager maximizes current and future business for NOV Fluid Motion Solutions pump and grinder products within a defined geographical region. The role aligns with compliance, risk, and margin expectations and applies strong knowledge of positive displacement pumps, grinder technologies, and solids-handling equipment applications across Environmental, Water, Energy, Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, General Industry, and Oil & Gas sectors.
Responsibilities
- ✓ Hold full sales responsibility for the FMS product line across all market sectors within the assigned region.
- ✓ Deliver regional revenue and base margin targets and drive growth aligned with company objectives.
- ✓ Promote and sell all existing and new FMS pump and grinder products, including original equipment and aftermarket.
- ✓ Strengthen performance through collaboration with distribution partners, agents, OEM customers, contractors, and end users across office-based, remote, and in-country interactions.
- ✓ Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure CRM accuracy for forecasts, customer activity, and pipeline management.
- ✓ Coordinate with FMS teams to ensure efficient enquiry-to-delivery execution and support Finance in meeting payment terms, cash-flow expectations, and invoice KPIs.
- ✓ Provide regular reporting on activity, market and competitor trends, and regional performance (bookings, sales, and margin).
- ✓ Support the Aftermarket team to resolve customer issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- ✓ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, commercial experience in an industrial engineering-based environment, and working knowledge within engineering and/or manufacturing and within a similar role.
- ✓ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, ERP systems, and strong ability to understand, evaluate, and apply technical information.
- ✓ Working knowledge of positive displacement pumps and API676 and/or similar industry specifications, along with the ability to keep pace with an evolving products-and-services portfolio.
- ✓ Advanced English is a must
- ✓ Strong judgment under tight deadlines, effective time allocation, and the ability to streamline or improve business processes while supporting colleagues and removing roadblocks.
