Position: PowerBI Developer

Duration: 6 Months
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI, along with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and KPIs. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports supporting supply chain functions such as inventory, logistics, procurement, and demand planning.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and visualizations.
- Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query to ensure performance, accuracy, and usability.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to define key metrics and KPIs, ensuring accurate and meaningful data representation.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including manual inputs, data warehouses, and cloud‑based platforms.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance across all Power BI solutions.
- Implement and manage row‑level security (RLS) in self‑service and enterprise reporting environments.
- Conduct Power BI performance tuning and optimization.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to business users, enabling self‑service analytics.
- Stay current with Power BI enhancements and industry best practices, recommending continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in Power BI development, preferably within supply chain or operations analytics.
- Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Proven experience implementing row‑level security (RLS).
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, metrics, and KPIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Snowflake.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL‑300, DA‑100) preferred.
