Overview

Operations is the beating heart of Amazon. This key part of our business makes sure we fulfil and dispatch orders efficiently so that our customers get their items on time. As an Outbound Operations Manager, you’ll make sure your area is running as smoothly as it should so that we can meet its goals. You will be leading a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of a high quality and taking on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing
  • Analyze and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high level
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibility
  • Analyze performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence
A day in the life
  • Manage Outbound operations, including picking, sort, packing and dock processes
  • Lead and develop a large team of area managers, operations leads and associates (100+ employees) across multiple shifts
  • Drive operational excellence through KPI management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control measures
  • Optimize resource allocation and labor planning
  • Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve issues
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Advanced English Skills
