A leading mortgage lender is seeking a Non-QM Specialist in São Paulo, Brazil. This remote position requires leveraging in-depth knowledge of Non-QM mortgages to assist the sales force in structuring loans and communicating with investors. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of mortgage experience with a strong understanding of various Non-QM programs. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are essential. Qualificações

  • 5+ years of mortgage experience with 3 years of extensive Non-QM experience.
  • Underwriting experience and/or certifications are preferred.

The Non-QM Specialist will play a critical role in our organization by leveraging in-depth knowledge and expertise in Non-QM mortgages. This individual will be responsible for assisting our Sales force in correctly qualifying and structuring loans, acting as a liaison between Sales and our investors, and ensuring efficient turn times. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of various Non-QM programs, including bank statement loans, DSCR loans, asset-based loans, foreign national and ITIN loans, and non-warrantable condos.

  • Loan qualification and Structuring: Assist the Sales team in accurately qualifying and structuring Non-QM loans, ensuring adherence to investor guidelines and maximizing loan approvals.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Sales team and our investors. Provide timely and accurate information to facilitate effective communication and efficient processing of loan applications.
  • Knowledge: Must possess proficient knowledge of Non-QM products, in general, and maintain that knowledge by staying in front of industry changes.
  • Investor Program updates: Stay current with changes and updates in investor programs and advise the team of changes to existing programs as well as opportunities to enhance our product offering.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to our Sales force to help them better understand how to qualify and sell Non-QM products and increase productivity.

  • This is a remote position – expectations of a productive work environment at home with sufficient internet are expected.
  • Underwriting experience and/or certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of mortgage experience, with 3 years of extensive Non-QM experience, is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a fine eye for detail are required.
