Network Engineer

Design, configure, and maintain Cisco network and security appliances and hardware, including Catalyst switches, ISR routers, FirePower, FMC, WLC, ISE, DNA, SD‑WAN management, and troubleshooting. Deep knowledge on WAN / LAN networking, including wireless, fiber‑optic and copper cable. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure minimal downtime and resilience to potential cybersecurity threats. Validate configuration backup systems are up and running.
Manage IT‑Network support tickets and monitor ticket queues. Implement security protocols such as firewalls, access controls, and encryption. Document network configurations and update system documentation regularly including visio diagrams. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network architecture for scalability. Perform hardware and software system upgrades, patches, and maintenance. Prepare detailed diagrams, use cases, instructional, and test documentation and guides. Coordinate with reporting manager, user functional communities, and team members on task priorities and initiatives. Conduct meetings, user training sessions, and testing with internal and external clients. Stay current with the latest network and security trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

Hand‑on experience on Cisco routers, switches, wireless, network operating systems including network appliances like FTD, ISE, DNAC, and SD‑WAN. Complete understanding on TCP / IP, OSI model and network protocols like SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, DHCP, DNS, FTP, etc. Must understand when to escalate urgent issues to the team. Require a solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting. Must be able to work occasionally after hours or weekends as required. Work as part of a team as well as independently. Available to be on‑call for support. Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
Proven ability to perform responsibilities in English. Strong communication skills – verbal and written. Minimum 7 years of Network Administration experience. Ability to resolve and / or elevate issues in a timely fashion. Strong experience in performing a variety of activities related to the analysis, installation, and troubleshooting of networking and applications.
