We are searching for the best talent for Medical Director - Onco Hematology in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Purpose

The Local Head of Therapeutic Area mission is to provide Medical Affairs leadership for a specific TA in the country or cluster, owning and driving the overall medical strategy and plans for in‑line and pipeline products, in close alignment with internal business partners.

You will be responsible for
  • Leads, manages and coaches a local Medical Affairs team—Responsible for the TA strategy development and execution, healthcare compliance and budget management.
  • Defines the strategic priorities for the TA, overseeing the development and deployment of the medical strategy for key in‑line products, while demonstrating a broad MAF vision.
  • Co‑leads the TA strategy for co‑positioning of in‑line products—Contributes to the development of the medical strategy for the TA pipeline products aligned with regional and global MAF teams—Realizes synergies across therapeutic areas and functions and provides MAF solutions—Participates and anticipates discussions for pre‑launch (including Regulatory and Market Access), market preparation, assuring that the overall launch strategy includes appropriate medical evidence generation strategies.
  • Leads and partners in interactions with key individual stakeholders to shape the medical community behaviour change in favour of better treatment decisions—Develops and maintains relationships with external investigators and opinion leaders involved in the delivery of TA care or engaged in TA studies—Provides oversight and support, if needed, to GCO‑MAO on the execution of local trial initiatives to ensure clinical trials site selection.
  • Responsible for all local publications.
Qualifications
  • Generally, 8–10 years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceuticals industry and in Medical Affairs, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
  • MD is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in Oncology and Hematology is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in Precision Medicine is nice to have.
  • Proven experience leading teams.
  • Proven track record of leading people and collaborating with internal business partners.
  • Medical or MBA / master’s degree.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Available to travel 20% of the time.
