Position Title

Marketing Head - IVD, LATAM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Head to lead our marketing efforts in the region. Based in São Paulo, Brazil or CDMX, Mexico, this role will oversee market expansion and brand growth across Latin America, working closely with distributors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the hematology analyzer market, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to execute marketing plans that drive revenue growth and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement marketing strategies for the Latin America region in alignment with the company's global strategy to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
  • Business Growth & Channel Expansion: Identify, establish, and manage distributor, dealer, and direct sales networks to optimize channel management and improve sales conversion.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory policies in Latin America to drive data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Brand Promotion & Event Planning: Plan and execute online and offline marketing activities, including trade shows, academic conferences, KOL collaborations, and product campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical support, regulatory, and product teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide market insights and sales tools, including promotional materials, sales training, and customer engagement strategies to improve sales effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Biomedical Science, Medical Devices, or related fields.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of marketing management experience in the IVD industry, preferably in hematology analyzers.
  • Market Expertise: Proven experience in marketing, channel management, and brand promotion in Latin America, with a strong understanding of local healthcare regulations and market needs.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish and English is a must; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to develop strategic plans based on market insights.
  • Cross-cultural Communication: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate across different countries and teams.
  • Execution & Adaptability: Self‑driven, capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment, and able to adjust strategies based on market changes.
Travel Requirement

Willingness to travel frequently across the Latin American region to cover key markets.
