About you

We are looking for a Marketing Associate to fuel the growth of our core Social Impact program (DataCamp Classrooms). This is a unique hybrid role that sits at the intersection of growth marketing, partnership management, and content creation.

You will be the face of DataCamp for hundreds of educators in the USA and Europe, driving adoption through direct product demos and supporting technical integrations. Simultaneously, you will own organic growth initiatives—from link building and Reddit community management to executing press releases for top-tier partnerships. Responsibilities
  • Scale Academic Partnerships: Support the acquisition and onboarding of key academic partners in the USA & Europe.
  • Drive Activation: Support onboarding via product demos, documentation building, and acting as the primary point of contact for North American teachers.
  • Manage Government & Strategic Alliances: Support the landing of high-stakes partnerships, including government bodies, LLM labs, and corporate CSR partners.
  • Own Community & Organic Growth: Drive traffic to DataCamp’s Social Impact pages by managing our presence on digital forums (e.g., Reddit, Discord).
  • Execute Content & Communications: Support the creation of press releases, blog posts, newsletters, social media posts, and tutorials.
  • Maintain Onboarding Assets: Develop and refine teacher-facing resources, including welcome tutorials and support documentation to drive self-serve success.
  • Leverage automation & AI: Prototype low‑code automations (e.g., n8n or Make.com) and use modern AI tools responsibly to standardize processes and increase efficiency.
  • SEO & Linkbuilding: Own link-building efforts with nonprofits and university partners.

Support Experimentation: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement at all stages of the marketing funnel. Formulate hypotheses, execute tests, and iterate on solutions to drive continuous optimization of key metrics.

Qualifications
  • Fluent in English
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, social sciences, or related fields.
  • 1-3 years of experience with go-to-market initiatives.
  • Comfortable conducting live demos and presenting to educators and administrators.
  • Experience engaging with communities on Reddit, Discord, or similar forums.
  • Data-driven with the ability to track your own metrics and report on them.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of operational tasks alongside strategic projects.
  • Bonus: You will be working with a lot of US universities so experience with these is an added bonus
  • Bonus: Experience with content writing, video editing, or visual design.
