BRM (Business and Relationship Management) is currently seeking a market research associate based out of our São Paulo office.

The Market Research Associate role is housed within the Business and Relationship Management (BRM) group based in São Paulo.

Responsibilities
  • Support Brazil's country manager in managing and developing Fitch's Investor, Banker and Private Equity existing and new business relationships.
  • Deep capital markets research and prepare briefings for meetings.
  • Understand and monitor competitors' ratings, maintaining internal reports and internal database with company / target and contacts information.
  • Monitor news, keep track of Brazil’s capital markets activities (local and external debt issuances), refinancing and M&A activities daily.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or analytically focused field of study.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to details.
  • Be pro‑active on researching and finding new business opportunities (business oriented), strong organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Capital Markets Experience.
  • Salesforce User.
  • Self‑starter who can understand objectives, work independently and is highly motivated.
  • Team oriented, with ability to effectively build relationships.
