A global manufacturing leader located in Piracicaba, Brazil, is seeking a temporary engineering professional to support production and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in engineering and have knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Responsibilities include analyzing production processes and implementing engineering changes to enhance quality and compliance with safety guidelines. This position requires on-site work five days a week and offers comprehensive benefits.

This is a temporary position with an initial one-year contract.

Job Summary

Provides support and guidance on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.

What you will do
  • Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
  • Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas.
  • Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.
  • Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
What you will have

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Engineering - MFG: Knowledge of processes, techniques and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.

Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.

Basic Requirements
  • A college degree in an appropriate engineering discipline – active CREA is required.
  • Pre‑Advanced English
  • Quality and Safety Management System Knowledge
  • PFMEA, Capital and expenses knowledge.
