What you will do

• Partner with the People team to provide guidance and counsel on employment law matters.
• Serve as the front-line legal advisor for all employment-related legal and personnel issues, consulting with external counsel as needed.
• Manage employment-related disputes, claims, lawsuits, and administrative tribunal actions, coordinating legal strategy with external counsel and the relevant People / business teams.
• Stay up to date on employment laws, regulations, and court decisions that may impact Ericsson and ensure compliance with applicable policies and practices.
• Assist with employment terminations, disciplinary actions, and planned group reductions-in-force or layoffs.
• Review global policies, bonus plans, template agreements, and compliance programs from a local legal perspective.
• Provide global employment law training, where applicable.
• Focus on prevention and proactive counsel, developing best-in-class practices and processes.

You will efficiently manage legal risks, minimize costs by handling legal issues in-house, reduce reliance on external counsel when possible, and maintain proactive communication with the People team and business units.

The skills you bring

• Law degree and legal qualification.
• Experience in dispute resolution, particularly in labor law.
• Proven ability to handle legal matters independently.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with senior managers.
• Interest in and understanding business strategies and objectives, with solid financial acumen.
• Integrity, accountability, analytical thinking, creativity, and commitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stress effectively.
• Flexibility to handle high volumes, fast-paced cycles, multiple assignments, concurrent deadlines, and shifting priorities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Spanish is desirable.
