About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Lead to lead the development of cutting-edge digital and AI-driven solutions within a global technology organization. This position will act as the right hand to senior engineering leadership , combining deep technical expertise with strong management skills.

The Engineering Lead will play a critical role in shaping and scaling modular, containerized solutions that integrate seamlessly across distributed systems. You will balance hands-on coding with technical leadership and team management , ensuring delivery excellence while fostering a high-performance culture.

This is a highly visible role within a global environment, requiring strong communication skills, the ability to connect technology with business outcomes, and experience in building scalable, future-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Define and drive software engineering standards, modular development practices (“lego-box” approach), and containerized architectures.
  • Provide architectural guidance for distributed and cloud-native systems, ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Act as a technical authority, owning technical choices and actively contributing to the codebase when needed.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of digital and AI solutions, from system design to deployment and ongoing operations.
Team Leadership & Management
  • Lead, coach, and inspire multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, MLEs, and SREs.
  • Promote best practices in software development, CI / CD pipelines, and modern DevOps methodologies.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with global engineering leaders, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure technology strategy is aligned with organizational goals.
Product & Business Alignment
  • Translate business challenges into scalable digital solutions, balancing technical innovation with operational value.
  • Work alongside product and business leaders to ensure solutions meet both functional and strategic objectives.
  • Guarantee that regional developments integrate into a cohesive global ecosystem of modular solutions.
Delivery & Operations
  • Oversee delivery quality and speed, ensuring robust code, data pipelines, and deployment practices.
  • Address issues at the right level (individual, team, or system) with proper prioritization.
  • Ensure global coherence across products while meeting local business needs.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of AI agents and generative AI solutions in real-world environments.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
  • 8+ years in software engineering, including experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager in a scale-up or large organization.
  • Strong background in software development (Web & Mobile) with proficiency in Python, C#, React, microservices, containers, and modular architectures.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), CI / CD practices, and distributed systems.
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams in designing and delivering scalable, robust digital solutions.
  • Practical exposure to AI / ML projects, including development of intelligent agents and generative AI deployments.
  • Experience with technical recruitment, onboarding, and upskilling of engineering teams.
  • Fluency in English (essential, global collaboration required).
