A leading biosolutions company seeks an Indirect Senior Buyer in Curitiba, Brazil, to manage tactical and operational procurement. The successful candidate will engage in vendor sourcing, negotiate contracts, and optimize costs within various service categories. They will collaborate with the Procurement Department and internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies, ensuring efficient operations. Strong negotiation skills and a Bachelor’s degree are required. This role is hybrid, allowing both onsite and remote work.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or Purchasing Officer.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• At least intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Manage RFIs / RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiation of commercial terms and contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key service providers and internal clients.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and departmental stakeholders to manage risk and support contract lifecycle.
• Stakeholder management at many organization levels and across sites in Brazil.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders / line of business.
• Share knowledge, collaborate, and back-up for other buyers in the region.
• Cross-supplier collaboration.
• Continuously improve procurement strategies for indirect categories through spend analysis and supplier development.

We are looking for a Senior Buyer who will work closely with other Category Buyers and Buyers and be responsible for tactical and operational procurement within a site/region, securing efficient day‑to‑day operations with delivery of products and services in the right scope, quality, at the right place, and at the right time.

This role will focus on vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and cost optimization across various service categories, including Facility Services, Capex, and MRO (Maintenance).

As part of the Procurement Department, you will join an ambitious team that enables growth via close collaboration throughout the supply chain and across regions, balancing quality, cost, and risk for the better of Novonesis.

• Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or Purchasing Officer
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Experience working with ERP SAP
• At least intermediate English level
