Your role

Are you an expert at aligning business strategy with the people agenda?

Do you have a background in the finance sector?

Have you successfully addressed cultural and complex organizational problems?

We're looking for an HR business partner to :

  • Partner closely with our business leaders across BU Latam and in particular Brazil
  • Counsel the business and help develop our human capital strategy (people management, reward, succession planning and strategic hiring)
  • Lead and collaborate on building capability and workforce strategies that will improve business performance (manage our talent, oversee performance, promotion and compensation)
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative HR information in order to guide and influence decisions
  • Handle any people-related risk issues
Your team
  • You’ll be partnering with the Business Area Heads of BU Latam, GWM based in Brazil, and join a team of HR business partners collaborating together and with other experts in HR.

We’re problem solvers for the business, supporting and challenging each other to reach the right outcome.

You’ll play an important role in working closely with the business to develop the HR strategy on Talent Management, Retention and Reward as well as, fostering UBS’s collaborative, respectful and performance-oriented culture.

This role will allow you to build networks across a culturally diverse organization.

Your expertise
  • Ideally several years of experience working as an HR Business Partner or a similar role
  • Firm grasp of relevant HR disciplines including HR Strategy, Talent Management, HR processes around the Employee life Cycle (Promotion, Performance, Reward etc.)
  • Skilled at building networks and connections
  • Able to impact and influence decisions and individuals
  • Confident using and analyzing data to help make better decisions
  • Well organized and able to thrive when no two days are the same and pressure may be high
  • Comfortable with challenging the status quo
