Stenon delivers the first real-time soil analysis to optimize fertilization, yield, and sustainability – powered by IoT sensor fusion, AI, and advanced software. Based on this technology, we are developing the leading nitrogen (N) management solution with variable-rate (VRA) fertilizer recommendations, tailored to crops, regions, and countries. Our soil sensing device is the enabler – the goal is a complete solution for precise, site-specific N management.

Position:

We seek an experienced Head of Business Development to lead Stenon’s growth in precision agriculture across Brazil. You will drive adoption of our nitrogen management and VRA solutions by building partnerships across the Brazilian agribusiness ecosystem and by turning pilot projects into long-term business. With proven success in Ag-Tech BD in Brazil, a strong network in agribusiness, and a track record of closing complex B2B deals, you will represent Stenon at C-level and play a key role in scaling our impact in Brazilian agriculture.

Tasks
  • Lead and expand Stenon’s business in Brazil with focus on N management & VRA solutions.
  • Identify, acquire, and manage partnerships with input retailers, cooperatives, machinery dealers, consultants, and large producers.
  • Develop and close business models (service contracts, licenses, volume agreements).
  • Launch pilot projects with major producers (soybean, sugarcane, corn) and transform them into long-term partnerships.
  • Translate market and customer feedback into actionable inputs for product and data science – optimizing regional VRA models.
  • Represent Stenon in Brazil on C-level, at industry events, and across agribusiness networks.
Requirements
  • Strong track record in business development or sales within Precision Agriculture / Ag-Tech in Brazil.
  • Established network in Brazilian agribusiness (São Paulo, Paraná, Mato Grosso regions).
  • Access to decision-makers in input retail, cooperatives, and large-scale farming groups.
  • Proven success in piloting new technologies and closing complex B2B deals.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach, able to build local structures from scratch.
