Team Overview

The User Growth Operations team is responsible for acquire, engage and retain 99food user base, ensuring an increasing flow of orders in the app.

Role Responsibilities

User Acquisition

  • Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive user acquisition strategies across various channels, including viral social media campaigns, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) partnerships, Member-Get-Member (MGM) and offline initiatives.
  • Establish seamless conversion paths to onboard existing users from DiDi's ride-hailing and payment services to the food delivery platform.

User Retention

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of tiered retention programs.
  • Leverage behavioral data to proactively identify and mitigate user churn risks.

Data analysis

  • Conduct rigorous and regular data analysis to proactively identify new growth opportunities and diagnose the root causes of critical issues affecting user growth.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards and routine reports to monitor the effectiveness of the initiatives.

Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Closely monitor market competition and develop agile response strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with product, merchant, marketing, and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless strategy execution and alignment.
Role Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Brazilian internet operations, preferably in food delivery, e-commerce, or mobility.
  • Native-level fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success with user acquisition and/or user engagement campaigns in a technology company
  • Experience in launching and scaling new platform businesses and facilitating cross-service conversions.
  • Experience executing viral social media campaigns, KOL partnerships, community building or MGM programs
