ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead/Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping a cloud-based platform that is redefining how life insurance products are built, delivered, and experienced digitally. You’ll influence core product evolution, balancing front-end excellence with scalable backend design in a remote, agile environment. This role offers high ownership, close collaboration with product leadership, and the chance to grow within a mission-driven, fast-evolving engineering team using modern full stack practices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work on the development of features that optimize the main products and platform
• Build production quality software that will be part of the core products and platform
• Work in an agile team closely collaborating with other software engineers and a product manager
• Work in a remote environment

MUST HAVES

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience writing production-quality code
• Solid experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
• Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Vue)
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle or Postgres
• Experience working with 3rd party software integrations (REST APIs, XML, JSON), and with cloud services, caching, containers, and app servers (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes etc.)
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Flexibility to work with a strong overlap with Pacific Time Zone hours
• Upper-intermediate English level.
