Qualificações

• Mínimo de 4 anos de experiência em Engenharia de Software.
• Forte experiência com REST APIs e manuseio de edge cases.
• Capacidade de tomar decisões independentes em contextos em mudança rápida.

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e entregar agentes de IA e recursos da plataforma.
• Integrar serviços da plataforma com CRMs e APIs de terceiros.
• Realizar monitoramento em tempo real e balanceamento de carga da infraestrutura de agentes de IA.

Full Stack AI Software Engineers Velozient • Hortolândia, Estado de São Paulo, BR

We are hiring three Full-Stack AI Software Engineers (remote, US-based client) with 4+ years of experience in software and AI agent development.

The team is small, fast-moving, and highly hands‑on. Engineers will design, build, deploy, monitor, and support an AI‑driven platform. You will work across the stack, from backend services to AI agent tuning to infrastructure automation. Candidates must be comfortable owning features end‑to‑end, working independently, and collaborating with distributed teams.

Our client develops AI agents that automate lead follow‑up and customer inquiries, allowing in‑person staff to focus on high‑value interactions. The platform will be white‑labeled, so engineers must build scalable, configurable, API‑driven solutions with strong attention to performance, reliability, and edge‑case handling.

Senior Software Engineers

• Provide architectural direction and ensure technical excellence
• Drive core business initiatives and scalable AI agent development

Mid‑Level Software Engineers

• Work independently and unblock yourself using AI and other resources
• Seek guidance when needed—propose solution options, not just problems

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver AI agents and related platform features
• Integrate platform services with CRMs and third‑party APIs
• Use AI tools, frameworks, and LLMs to enhance workflows, automate tasks, and optimize customer interactions
• Build and maintain /Django backend services and scalable REST APIs
• Conduct hands‑on coding, code reviews, and contribute to system architecture
• Implement automated QA checks, assist with manual QA when needed, and build scripts/tools to improve testing coverage and reliability
• Participate in real‑time monitoring and automated load balancing of AI agent infrastructure
• Diagnose and resolve defects—identify root causes and implement long‑term fixes
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Required Experience (Must‑Have)

• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Minimum 4+ years of Software Engineering Experience
• Frontend experience should include one of: React, Redux, Mui, react‑query, react‑table, or Husky
• Backend experience should include: Python, Django, Postgres, Celery, RabbitMQ
• CI/CD and infrastructure experience should include: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Gitlab
• Experienced in performing comprehensive unit testing, collaborating with QA to ensure the team achieves coverage goals, and assisting with automated test development as needed
• Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG pipelines, model selection, and AI optimization
• Strong experience building and maintaining REST APIs with robust edge‑case handling and diagnostic logging
• Proven skill integrating systems via APIs (CRMs strongly preferred)
• Successful track record in high‑growth lean startup environments
• Ability to make independent decisions in fast‑changing contexts
• Experience working in fully remote distributed engineering teams
• Familiarity with Agile project management and defect tracking tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities

Preferred Experience (desired but not required)

• Technical or engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with white‑label SaaS architectures
• Exposure to AI agent orchestration tools or workflow engines
• Experience with test automation frameworks
