As a Front-End Developer, you will play a critical role in translating creative intent into exceptional digital experiences.

You will first contribute to the development of components and templates within an AEM-based environment, collaborating closely with full-stack developers, an AEM expert and under the supervision of our Web Tech Lead.

As we progressively shift toward a headless architecture, you will help shape and build the next generation of high-performance, mobile-optimized user interfaces using React and Next.js.

This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle the transformation of a functional but legacy platform that needs to evolve significantly in terms of user experience quality, creative expression, and mobile-first performance.

Your front-end expertise will be key in raising the bar across all digital touchpoints.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

• Develop and maintain reusable front-end components and templates using modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Deliver pixel-perfect, accessible, and mobile-optimized user interfaces, with a strong focus on CSS precision, animations, and transitions that bring creative designs to life.
• Optimize front-end code for performance, responsiveness, and technical SEO, ensuring a best-in-class experience across all devices.
• Collaborate closely with developers, UX / UI designers, SEO specialists, and content teams to create engaging, user-centric digital experiences.
• Implement Web Accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) to ensure inclusive design and compliance across platforms.
• Contribute to overall code quality through peer reviews, technical documentation, and front-end testing strategies.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :

• 3+ years of experience as a front-end developer with a strong focus on React and modern frameworks such as Next.js.
• Exceptional CSS skills, with a deep understanding of layout systems (Flexbox, Grid), animations, and responsive design.
• Strong attention to detail in UI implementation, with the ability to translate high-fidelity designs into fluid, dynamic interfaces.
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest) and mobile-first development.
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Agile workflows, and collaborative development environments.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and / or headless CMS architecture is an asset.
• Understanding of REST APIs, and best practices for API integration.
• Exposure to CI / CD workflows and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of technical SEO best practices in front-end development.
