Job Title

Finance, Risk & Compliance - Accounting Manager V

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Employment Type: Temporary - 6 months

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our client's team in the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Approve budgets and periodic reports, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve the company's financial goals.
• Prepare forms and manuals for accounting personnel and direct their activities.
• Survey operations to recommend solutions to business and financial problems.
• Collect and analyze data to detect deficiencies, fraud, or non-compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports and financial statements.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency in applying accounting and mathematical principles.
• Experience in analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.
• Knowledge of federal, county, and company accounting policies and regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial discipline required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• No degree required if certified accountant.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with advanced accounting software.
