Job Title : DevOps Engineer

Duration : 12 months (ASAP Start)

Work Type : Hybrid (3 Days Onsite per Week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps solutions in Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), CI / CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation, with a strong background in cloud architecture and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
• Support incident , problem , and change management processes.
• Architect, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines for retail applications.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes.
• Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost‑efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and related tools.
• Support day-to‑day DevOps operations and contribute to environment stability.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system optimization.
• Ensure digital security, perform vulnerability management, and participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Troubleshoot networking, infrastructure, and deployment issues.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in technology with a strong focus on DevOps and cloud engineering.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, AKS, networking, storage, load balancers, and security.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands‑on experience building and managing CI / CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools.
• Solid programming experience in one or more languages: C#, Java, or Python.
• Strong SQL and database experience (MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Skilled in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation frameworks.
• Experience applying modern Service Delivery methods — Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and ITIL-based processes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with proven ability to work across teams.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, firewalls, and network security groups.

Desired Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert — validating expertise in designing and implementing DevOps practices on Azure.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert — demonstrating advanced Azure solution design skills.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) — validating Kubernetes deployment and management proficiency.
• Experience with retail or wholesale trading systems is a plus.
