A recruitment agency is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure in a Linux environment. You will support operations for a suite of software products, handling permissions, troubleshooting, and automating deployment processes. The position requires 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on AWS and Terraform. This role offers statutory benefits in Brazil, including a meal voucher and paid time off.
3–5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
AWS Experience – EC2, Security Groups, Command Line usage
Terraform Experience – Command line and coding experience to stand up cloud infrastructure, create / modify resources, and update permissions on security groups (following existing formats)
Linux Environment – Experience with Amazon Linux, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and scripting for installation and deployment
Scripting & Automation – Ability to write scripts for deployment using Packer or Terraform
In this role, you will support infrastructure operations for a suite of software products. Responsibilities include managing permissions, handling one-off requests via Slack, resolving access issues, and supporting releases for new services. You’ll be responsible for patching and maintaining cloud infrastructure, primarily in a Linux environment. You’ll use AWS (EC2, Security Groups) and Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, following established formats. Tasks also include scripting for deployment and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure smooth operations. Some exposure to Windows environments is acceptable, though the focus is on Amazon Linux.
This is a CLT opportunity. You are eligible for 15 days annual holidays / sick time and 30 days annual time off. Annual salary will be paid in local currency (REAL), and ranges based on years of experience and skillset. Full details on time off listed below. Both full-time and part-time employees are entitled to 30 calendar days of paid time off (PTO) a year. PTO accrues monthly at 2.5 days per month. Employees are eligible for annual leave after 1 year of work. During the first year of employment, an employee is not allowed to take any leave.
