A deep tech platform is seeking a Deployment Strategist to drive adoption in large Brazilian companies. About Avra

Avra is a deep tech platform powered by foundational AI that translates the complexity of SMBs (Small and Medium Businesses) into strategic decisions for large enterprises.

We develop our own foundational models from the ground up—without relying on third-party solutions—to deliver innovative insights that empower some of the leading enterprises across Latin America.

Today we focus on three main areas: (1) boosting underwriting (by increased recommended credit limits and reduction in delinquency); (2) increasing enterprise revenue through hyper-personalization of offerings to SMBs; and (3) customer segmentation to attract the right kind of SMBs to the sales funnel.

Founded in 2024 by Viviane Meister and Bruno Alano (ex-OpenAI) and accelerated by NVIDIA, AWS and Google.

The role

As a Deployment Strategist, you will drive adoption of the Avra platform and model in some of Brazil's largest companies.

We are looking for someone with energy and a strong sense of ownership to help our clients generate impact with SMBs.

You will be on the front line. You will be embedded with a handful of key customers. Your mission is to quickly grasp the nuances of a client's business and identify their pressing challenges. You will translate those into actionable insights for both the client and the Avra team. You will work with technical specialists and be able to translate this into business insight for executive teams. The Avra platform will deliver outsized results for our clients because you understand our customers environment too well.

This is a role for someone who can bring structure to chaos, who is comfortable asking contrarian questions, who knows what traction feels like and is driven by tangible impact. This role reports directly into Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Forward deployment & deep customer engagement: become embedded with a handful of clients. You will go on-site and meet the customer. You will own implementation, account management, customer service, customer training.

  • Problem identification: get into the operational weeds with customers to deeply understand their workflows. You will identify key problems and understand their data and relevant datasets. You will not be satisfied with surface-level answers.

  • Strategic prioritization: Synthesize your findings to identify the most critical issues and opportunities, then prioritize them to drive maximum value for the client.

  • You'll be part of a double act: Work hand-in-hand with a Deployment Engineer who can turn your insight into the technical solution the customer needs, at speed.

  • Provide active feedback for Avra's product suite: you will bring insight from the field back to Avra's product and engineering teams. You will drive quick iteration based on real-world usage and feedback. This will improve our existing solution and impact our future product offerings.

  • Bridge the gap between Experts and Executive teams: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, from data specialists and operational teams to C-level executives. You will translate detail into business impact and vice versa.

  • Sales enablement and execution: Provide the sales team with the context and opportunities needed to jointly execute upselling and expansion within the client account.

  • Experience with operational processes and a knack for understanding why they exist and how they can be improved.

Experience and qualifications
  • Experience: 4-5 years of work experience

  • Industry: experience working in hyper growth tech start-ups in agile, cross-functional teams. A background in consulting or product management is a plus, but must display a contrarian / out-of-the-box streak!

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree. Alternatively, a project or work experience that shows you can commit to a long term undertaking, that you can invest in understanding building blocks and seek continuous learning.
