A leading travel technology company is seeking a Communications Lead in São Paulo, Brazil. This hybrid role requires a professional to craft and implement communication strategies supporting business and policy objectives. Ideal candidates will have over 12 years of experience, a deep understanding of Brazil's travel industry policies, and be proficient in both English and Portuguese. The position involves managing PR efforts, influencer collaborations, and internal communications to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

As the Communications Lead for Brazil, you will be responsible for developing and driving our communications strategy in all of the country. This role will form part of the local leadership team, and will help craft strategies aimed at protecting the company’s reputation, while supporting the company’s voice on a range of topics including building brand awareness, supporting our global narrative, and addressing local needs when it comes to government relations, taxes and legal matters among others.
You must be comfortable and confident in working directly with cross‑functional teams, journalists and influencers, managing external agencies, and developing and delivering communications plans that support business and policy objectives. We’re looking for an effective and creative communications leader who has the ability to explain complex ideas in simple ways.
The role will report to the Regional Communications Director for Latin America.
This position is based in São Paulo, Brazil - Hybrid. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at off‑sites, as agreed to with your manager.

The base pay range shown below is monthly, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
