Purpose and Objectives

The Centre of Expertise (CoE) within SAP Premium Engagement & Advisory provides the expertise in application and technology areas to deliver high‑end support to our Premium Engagement customers.

Our work is based on a holistic understanding of our customers’ business and a strong relationship to jointly improve IT & business operations and safeguard their implementation projects. Expectations and Tasks

The CoE North Star Architecture team focuses on the top Premium Engagement customers providing strategic advisory on Enterprise Architecture, Business Transformation Roadmaps, Implementation strategies, Clean Core, Technical Architecture and guidance during all Software Development Lifecycle phases.

  • Implement strategies for Software Lifecycle management according to customer strategies, using standard SAP Tools for both On‑Premise & Cloud solutions.
  • Build solid roadmaps and implementation strategies taking into account business organization and customer main objectives.
  • Propose and design architecture for complex landscapes including multiple non‑SAP and SAP installations, products and solutions.
  • Lead consultant and architect teams to design and build final and intermediate architectures, business processes and integration strategies during different project phases.
  • Collaborate with SAP Development, SAP Support Centres, SAP Consulting and Business Transformation areas as part of a global team. Business travel will be an essential part of this role.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science or Information Technology.
  • Ability to analyze complex problem situations and to develop solution approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Interest in working with an international team.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Portuguese is desirable but not mandatory.
Work Experience
  • Solid experience on ECC and S/4HANA implementations, knowledge of different project methodologies, experience with Agile methodology is highly desirable.
  • Experience in at least one S/4HANA implementation as consultant, lead or architect, on‑premise or cloud.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following finance solutions: S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance, Group Reporting. Experience with consolidation and tools for reconciliation is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Governance: master data objects (business partners, customers, vendors, financial objects) and key mapping concepts.
  • Knowledge in procurement and order to cash solutions: S/4HANA Order to Cash, S4HANA Procure to Pay, ARIBA.
  • Knowledge in logistics solutions: Transportation Management, Extended Warehouse Management, Business Network for Logistics.
  • Basic knowledge in manufacturing solutions: Integrated Business Planning, PP-DS, SNP, DP.
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA simplification list, SAP product roadmaps and solutions or products that are part of compatibility scope (e.g., APO, LES-TRA, WM).
  • Knowledge of Signavio and LeanIX is a plus.
