Business Development Representative (BDR)

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outbound sales, particularly within the Brazilian market.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new business opportunities within the Brazil market.
  • Discover new accounts not created in the CRM and ensure their accurate documentation within the system.
  • Attend events and industry conferences to network and generate leads (occasionally required, preferably based in Brazil).
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute effective prospecting strategies.
  • Leverage expertise in SaaS solutions to articulate the value proposition of CleverTap's platform to potential clients.
  • Utilize a variety of tools, including Salesforce.com, Sales Navigator, Lusha, Outreach, and Apollo, to streamline sales processes and maximize efficiency.
  • Engage with prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media to establish rapport and understand their business needs.
  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and industries to tailor outreach efforts effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and opportunities in our CRM system.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in outbound sales as a BDR.
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Salesforce.com, Sales Navigator, Lusha, Outreach, and Apollo.
  • Native Portuguese speaker with fluency in English.
  • Strong understanding of BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) qualification methodology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
