We’re now looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our remote team. Please be informed that this is a contractor position and we will require your CNPJ. You’ll work directly with clients, manage their day-to-day financial operations, and leverage technology to deliver accurate, timely, and strategic bookkeeping support.

What You'll Do

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for assigned clients, including AP / AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Maintain accurate financial data using QuickBooks or other cloud-based accounting tools.
• Prepare clear, insightful financial reports that help clients make better decisions.
• Communicate with clients and team members through Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
• Use Financial Cents to track projects, deliverables, and timelines.
• Proactively identify ways to improve processes, automate tasks, and increase efficiency.
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports for internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Aerial Core’s quality expectations.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent in English
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
• Flexibility around working hours, with the understanding that some tasks may require availability during US business hours (mainly Pacific Time)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple clients independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment using digital tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Financial Cents or any other workflow automation tools
• Familiarity with CRMs or project management systems such as Asana
• Prior experience working with startups or small businesses
