Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, technical and dynamic Associate, Financial Control.

We are looking for an individual with a strong analytical profile who will establish and own our financial control framework, ensuring absolute integrity and compliance from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

Establish Financial & Regulatory Integrity: You will be the expert owner of all COSIF standards and other accounting regulations issued by the Central Bank, ensuring our operations are fully compliant.

  • Own Regulatory Reporting: Take full responsibility for the end-to-end preparation, technical validation, and accurate submission of all CADOCs (regulatory reports) to the Central Bank.
  • Manage Financial Disclosures: Lead the preparation and ensure the integrity of all financial statements for disclosure, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Lead Audit & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for and manage compliance with all internal and independent audits, ensuring all controls are effective and documented.
  • Oversee Tax & Accounting: Apply your good tax knowledge to ensure the correctness of all tax-related accounting treatments and compliance procedures.
Qualifications
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience working within financial institutions or fintechs regulated by the Central Bank of Brazil.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep, applied knowledge of Brazilian banking accounting standards (COSIF) and Central Bank reporting requirements (CADOCs).
  • Core Skills: Demonstrable experience in financial statement preparation, managing audit processes, and a solid understanding of tax principles.
  • Education: A university degree in Accounting, or related sciences.
  • Profile: An analytical, technical, and dynamic professional who is a good team player and has excellent communication skills.
  • Language: Upper-intermediate or Advanced English proficiency.
  • Desirable Qualifications (A Plus): * Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
