Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Digital Solution – Endress+Hauser Group. Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions (DS) is the product center for industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), digitalization, digital communication, asset and process management, and other innovative digital solutions within the Endress+Hauser Group. Our digital solutions for process automation complement and enhance our renowned process measuring instruments, delivering tangible value to our customers. To accelerate the growth of Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with Sales Centers (SC) and customers, and achieve sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Support SC sales teams as a digitalization advisor during customer visits.
  • Deliver impactful demos, attend events, and equip SCs to close deals.
  • Train sales teams on enablement materials like playbooks and demo scripts.
  • Assist in creating sales materials and formalizing case studies.
  • Build strong customer relationships in digitalization with key accounts.
  • Expand market presence using automation expertise and industry insights.
  • Co-develop sales strategies with SCs to drive net sales growth.
  • Identify scalable business opportunities and align portfolio with market needs.
  • Bridge SCs and Product Center, supporting launches and phase-outs.
  • Handle escalations on product, quality, and logistics; advise on pricing.
  • Provide market feedback to shape product roadmap and standardize offerings.
  • Drive profitability, monitor KPIs, and promote operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree in engineering (automation, industry, electric, chemical).
  • Advanced or fluent English level.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset : hands‑on, growth‑oriented professional with a passion for driving impactful results.
  • Digital expertise : proven experience in sales and business development for digital B2B solutions, with a strong understanding of industry dynamics.
  • Industry knowledge : background in process automation technologies and system solutions.
  • Relationship builder : exceptional networking and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a multicultural, matrix organization.
  • Adaptability & resilience : comfortable navigating complex challenges with agility and confidence.
